[That was some fucked up shit. Did they really watch that? Definitely not something their parents paid close attention to.]

[they totally were not allowed to watch it. however, before they can even have a conversation about it, pietro—annoyingly—points out:]

Pink dog.

[redchaos]

[Mmmmmmm Pietro what did she say about being annoying? Wanda frowns.]

Purple. He's a purple dog.

[HOW IS HE ANNOYING IF HE IS RIGHT? is he going to have to sit up for this, wanda? all he does is crane his head to look down at her.]

No, he is not. Clearly he is pink.

[redchaos]

[She's sitting up! Just to look at him, so he can see how wrong she believes him to be.]

Pietro. Have you been color blind this whole time?

[margenes]

That is not how color blindness works.

[he thinks? but also, no, he's not! he swats his hand at her.]

You are wrong and I am right.

[redchaos]

You don't even know how color blindness works.

[She'll call him out on that and continue to frown at him.]

He's not a pink dog. Why would he be pink? Purple is spookier.

Neither do you.

[okay, he's sitting up, too. because this is a discussion that requires his full attention and he is not going to lose this argument.]

Purple is for shadows. Every other time he is pink. It makes sense.

[redchaos]

I know more than you.

[In general! Because she's been alive longer now. 😫 ]

He's light purple. Dark purple is for shadows.

I need paper and markers of all colors.

[he expects magic to happen.]

[Wanda lifts a brow and turns her hand.

A cute little art pad and a set of markers appear on his lap.

Except it's a set of all shades of purple, from light to dark.

[his eyes narrow because she would only pull out a set of all shades of purple from her magical arsenal.]

This is cheating. You know, I can run and find my own set of markers.

[he will have to run so far!]

[redchaos]

You won't, because you wouldn't make your poor sister worry about you like that, Pietro.

[And she is right about that, too! Wanda sits up properly to open the pack of purple markers and flip open the pad of paper so she can draw a purple dog that looks nothing like Courage.]

[margenes]

My poor sister is looking less poor and more like a cheater sister.

[the purple markers... give him all the colors please. he glances at the (cute) art pad with skepticism.]

What is that supposed to be? A bean?

[redchaos]

[She writes his name next to it. With a heart.]

A portrait of my beloved brother.

[rolls his eyes!! he'll grab the art pad]

Can I at least have a black marker?

[redchaos]

[She'll be kind and give him a basic marker set, all the colors of the rainbow included.]

There. You big baby.

[She actually loves it. Shh.]

You are incredibly annoying sometimes, much as I love you.

[he will start drawing an actual good picture of courage beside her sister's bean-rendition of her favorite brother. this is one of the few things pietro takes his time on, not rushing through the drawing process, and getting a pretty legit rendition of courage.]

[redchaos]

Stole the words right from my mouth.

[One of them had to be the artist. Wanda is actually intrigued, scooting up beside him and resting her head on his shoulder to watch, careful not to jostle him and ruin his drawing.]

You haven't seen Courage in forever. How did you get that so good?

[margenes]

[well, it seems like the discourse is easy to put behind him now that he's In The Zone. and it's nice, too, when wanda scoots up close, glued to him, to watch him work on the drawing.]

It is just shapes. Circles and more circles, triangle for the nose, [he's pointing with the marker's tip] and then the details. It is hard to forget.

[he grabs the pink marker to start coloring in, even if the pink shade is more like highlighter pink.]

And I am inspired to prove you wrong.

[redchaos]

[It was great until he used the wrong color. But Wanda likes hearing him talk about this stupid little drawing, and it's probably obvious in the way she cuddles up closer.

She misses being little, watching television with her family. Her only concern was picking something Pietro wouldn't throw too much of a fit over.]

This looks like Courage's sister, now.

[margenes]

He does not have a sister—

[and then he realizes that she's basically giving him shit for the whole pink dog color thing. he grumbles under his breath, something like ha ha, and continues finishing his coloring of the drawing (because he is now committed to it).

then, since his sister drew "him", pietro is going to return the favor, but by making a better drawing of her face.]

He will always be pink to me.

[redchaos]

[Is this how she gets him to keep still? Hmm. Wanda watches the marker on the paper.]

It's a shame that you're colorblind, but you should draw me pictures of what you see when you run. Queen Clarice and her babies would be cute.

[margenes]

I do not think you deserve to see Queen Clarice and her cubs.

[a small nose for wanda, then her eyes—almond-shaped, gentle—her cheekbones, her hair.]

Having a camera would be easier.

[he grabs at one of the purple markers she apparated and starts shading her hair with it. :)]

[It was so cute until he RUINED it with the wrong color.]

You're very rude for someone who clearly needs to see an eye doctor.
