[On her feet, she pulls over a chair that's so conveniently there in the bathroom, guiding Pietro by the shoulders to sit.]

[trust pietro to not read her mind but still totally act like he's reading her mind. it's definitely a good thing he can't! and he trusts that she won't be reading his.

[he takes a seat, slumping a little so he's just the right height so she can look over his hair without issue.]

[And she clearly is offended by it! Very much so, with the way she just takes a few moments to run her fingers through his hair, gently scratching his scalp. Everything is a chance to give him affection.]

No, it is not. But I remember when you tried to put eyeliner on me and you poked my eye. I could have been blind.

I did not. [She did.] I still think you would look very cool, wearing eyeliner. It's shame you're too much of a baby to handle it.

I wanted to give you emotional support during your, what do Americans call, Hot Topic phase? I do not think I can go back to that. My eye was red for weeks.

[If she had any remaining doubts about this being a trick... no one would be able to make some imitation of her brother this much of a convincing baby about things in their past.]

[he dares raise his hand, index finger up as he gets to stare at his feet and the floor and all the hair he's losing.]

[She's doing a good job at getting rid of length while not leaving him with bald spots. Is it all even? No. But it's fine.]
